The new Lagoon 46 has all the credentials to be the new flagship model of the Lagoon shipyard from 2020. Just like the other models of the French company launched in recent years, the trend continues to increase comfort and practicality on the three levels available for guests on board (interiors and cabins, deck and flybridge) but with an increasing attention to the catamaran's sailing performance. In this sense the retraction towards the stern of the mast, compared to the Lagoon 450, and the consequent increase of 10 sqm of sail plan compared to its predecessor and the practical use of the fore sail thanks to the comfortable self-tacking jib. The distinctive feature of the new catamaran is undoubtedly the lengthening of the bimini towards the stern with the creation of a very comfortable sun deck / sitting area a on the fly immediately behind the command cockpit. It should be noted that the sitting area on the Fly can be fully covered by a folding sun deck and therefore it is very practical even when anchored. The cockpit is large and has a table that can accommodate up to twelve guests. Also the wide descents to the sea are very practical with wide steps and without border in the lower step that facilitate the ascent and descent from the tender. A further U-shaped saloon is located at the bow, an ideal place to enjoy sailing and aperitifs in the harbor and when anchored. The dinette is large and bright with the kitchen very well equipped and looking aft towards the cockpit. The table inside can be lowered to the level of the sofa to form an additional double bed. Finally, an absolute novelty compared to the previous models, a part of the front windows can be totally open, facilitating the passage of objects towards the bow and perfect aeration in the harbor. The cabins are large and very high with semi-island beds and exceptional natural lighting thanks to new and larger windows
